Dr. Porter has been our pediatrician since both of my children were born. They are both teenagers now. He is an amazing doctor with an excellent demeanor and understanding of each of my children’s individual personalities and needs. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Porter to anyone looking for a pediatrician for newborns and any age up. Also, the office staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Porter has been pediatrician for three of our children over the years. He is always thorough and we greatly appreciate his practical advice. His office has always been able to fit us in when we needed an urgent visit and everyone in his office is wonderful. When our daughter’s injury required the emergency room, his office called ahead and the emergency room was expecting us when we arrived. The 24 hour nurse line has been a blessing on a couple of occasions. We recommend Dr. Porter to everyone, and he is now our grandson’s pediatrician too.

As a side note, we don’t have insurance and his office is affordable.

My two children go to Dr. Porter and I am always very happy with our visits. Whether it's illness or just routine check the staff and physicians are always wonderful. They can always get my girls in if they are sick and there usually is very little wait for the room or the physician to see us. He also works with Dr. Laura Galloway and visits with her are also a good experience. The staff is helpful and accommodating and if I reach out via phone or email I receive response quickly, same day, sometimes even same hour.

We lived in Richardson when my son was born. We then moved out to McKinney, but will never change our pediatrician! Dr. Porter is absolutely worth the drive. I can always get an appointment and waiting time in the waiting room is minimal. I honestly don't think I've waited more than 5 minutes. He tells you what your options are, gives you his recommendation, but in the end, will do what parents think is best. He's great with the kids too. His nurses call back when they say they will, and will answer all questions. They treat us with love and respect. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Porter and his office.

Switched to Dr Porters practice after not enjoying the experience with our first pediatrician. We are beyond pleased! No matter whether we see Dr Porter or Dr Galloway we feel like we are given the time our child deserves. The doctors and nurses ask and answer all your questions and never make us feel like they are in a hurry to get to the next patient. Definitely a caring practice I would recommend to any family!
