Wonderful Stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Lakeland

I recently stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Lakeland for the first time, and I must say it was a pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff stood out for their exceptional friendliness and helpfulness. Samantha at the front desk made the check-in process smooth and welcoming, and both silvia and Joyce from the kitchen went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed.

The hotel was nice and clean, which added to the comfort of my stay. While there’s always room for improvement, overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The environment was cozy and made me feel at home.

Thanks to the amazing staff and the comfort I experienced, I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Our stay at the Home2 suites by Hilton Lakeland was absolutely incredible!||||We booked room 431, a one-bedroom accessible suite with a king bed and a sofa bed. ||||When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely hotel staff in the beautiful lobby. They showed us around, told us about the breakfast options, and gave us our room keys. We headed straight to our room, and we were blown away by how they’d designed it. There was a full kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator, plus a table that could seat three. The living room had a sofa that turned into a sofa bed for me to sleep on, and a nice work desk with a TV. The bedroom had a beautiful king-size bed and another TV. And the bathroom had a shower and tub combo.||||We didn’t have breakfast, but we did go down in the morning before the cross-country race to check out the options. They had some pretty good choices.||||We also took a look at the pool and the fitness center. The pool was nice, and the fitness center had treadmills and workout areas. But other than that, we loved everything about the stay.||||I just wanted to say a special thank you to everyone at the hotel for keeping the place clean and nice for their guests. It really made a difference.||||Thanks again!

We are pretty picky about our hotels; even a brand such as Hilton has bad reviews, but I can't think of anything to complain about for our most recent stay at the Home2Suites in Lakeland. The room (2 queens + a sofa bed) was spacious and quiet. I generally do not sleep well the first night at a hotel, but I slept great here! The window treatments really blocked out all of the light. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and nicely lit. Plenty of free parking, too. The breakfast area was wonderful, with plenty of choices for everyone. The hotel is located as an outbuilding of a town center mall, so there were lots of opportunities for shopping if you wanted, and there were many restaurant choices. I recommend staying here if you are in Lakeland.

The hotel us well located. Lots of amenities but unfortunately our stay was not the best. Clara from the breakfast area made our stay very uncomfortable. The breakfast ended at 9 am and we went there at 8:30. We were taking food for us and to take and as soon as we sat down she come to us to say we had 8 minutes left. Basically she told us to leave. She then came and brought us a bag to take our food, once again saying to us please leave. The problem arises in that she told that only to us and not the rest of the people that were still eating there. She's Hispanic as us and she was discriminatory towards with her attitude and making comments about people from Puerto Rico, where we come from. We were not expecting this from her or any staff there. The day before we were treated well. Clara shouldn't be in charge of areas there or people because she doesn't treat people well. I heard her saying something to the other lady that was working there in a mean way. This happened on 12/9. We lived in Lakeland for many years and we love it but unfortunately I would not stay again in this hotel.

The staff is very friendly. For my birthday, the staff surprised me with a snack basket. The daily breakfast was amazing. The hotel is super clean and they even have free washer and dryers. It’s located around a lot of great restaurants and stores. 10/10 Highly recommend!

The front desk staff at this property lacks flexibility and displayed poor customer service skills during my communications with them. They were unwilling to assist in finding a suitable room, leaving me feeling unsupported and disappointed. This experience did not meet basic Hilton hospitality standards. I've stayed at the Hampton Inn next door, and they've provided much better service.

Update in regards to the General Manager's comment to my review. When I called the hotel, I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was no manager available until tomorrow AM. It's interesting how there was time to respond to my review, but not enough time to speak with me over the phone when I've called 3x since yesterday. Furthermore, I'm a single traveler and did not request/reserve 2 queen beds. The hotel is sold out now but as of 3pm today, the Hilton app showed King room availability and I've been calling the hotel since yesterday hoping to update what I was incorrectly booked for but according to front desk staff no manager was available to assist. This is the 2nd time I've had a similar experience with this hotel's customer service, so no worries, I won't be staying at this property again.

Location was great, the room was clean, and the breakfast was very good. Zamantha and Danielle were so kind and helpful. I had an issue with my check-in, and they were very efficient in resolving it.Thank you! Merry Christmas ?

Great hotel. My room is close to the elevator so we do hear a bit of noise but other than that, no complaints. Very clean room, large size with everything we could possibly need. And I love the location. I can walk to the stores, restaurants, movies and bar. Just a great hotel that I highly recommend to anyone in the area.
