My grandma is currently at the Hidden Glenn Locations. There are some caregivers/nurses that are amazing that take great care of everyone including my grandma. However, The HEAD NURSE BREE. Is unforgivable, incapable of sympathy, and unprofessional. BREE should be looked into for unfair treatment and of course her behavior. If she lashes out on us guests?! And rude to staff and the patients. BREE needs to be investigated or replaced. She is the only reason I’m giving a 1 star rating. She is holding back this place from being amazing. I see she is also called out across multiple other reviews. I don’t understand how nothing has changed for her.

I've been very impressed by the quality of care at Hidden Glenn Escondido. Bree and her team are professional and courteous and my Mother is in a fantastic free standing home rather than a hospital type environment. Highly recommend !!

Be careful placing a loved one in this facility. when you walk in the front office, they are rude especially BREE Lofvendahl the executive director. The caregivers were rude to my mom and to myself they have a huge language barrier because the caregivers are not bilingual, or they are pretending. therefore, if there is a problem health wise the caregiver can't understand the resident. Several occasions I was looking for caregiver to help and they would be in the medication room no light on so you couldn't see, and they would be on their cell phone. I wouldn't leave one star for this place, but I need to leave this review.

A friend of my mother's is being "taken care of" here. She has been physically attacked by other inmates (people can come and go as they please, apparently), had her cash stolen, and had her possessions thrown away on a whim. I'm looking into reporting this facility because they do not care about the well being of their clientele. This might not be the norm for everyone staying at this facility, but the stories I hear are horrible. Do a detailed walk through if you are considering this place for your loves ones.

My mother was a resident here. It's goten worse since it was bought out by a big corporation. They refused to take her back from the hospital they sent her to. she died at my house. cost me four times as much to hire caregivers. It was terrible watching her waste away and slowly die of cancer. They wanted me to pay for three months rent despite not allowing her back. Beware involuntary transfers and unfair agreements. Once bisness can't make money off someone they try to dump them.

If your in need of an elder Care facility, have limited funds and are looking for a place that will take Medicaid, this might be an option. I have only briefly looked at this facility. The rooms are pretty basic ( hospital bed, tv and nightstand). Haven't been able to observe food and care much, so those are still question marks. Facility is designed more for patient care then that comfortable feel. Rooms aren't that comfortable if your visiting. Rooms 2 to 3 to a room ( no private rooms). Up to 14 patients per housing unit. 2 night staff on duty. So availability of staff at night might be an issue? Price wise it's one of the best bargains at under $4k per month. A little depressing from my point of view but not as bad as some places that charge 2 to $4,000 more per month. If I knew more about the care being given there I might be able to overlook the other stuff. And in that case would definitely consider this as an option. Also the administrative staff was very helpful as far as being informative as to options.

Oak Hill took care of my father for over 2 1/2 years. He was wheelchair
bound due to Parkinson's. My Dad also had 3 strokes and other problems going on. The nurses were great ( Fie, Bree, Catherine) they kept him going. The Daily care staff also were friendly. This place is not for Active seniors but more of a place to take care of our elderly family members when they cannot take care of themselves anymore. The amount of care you receive for the $$$ is the best around.

Fui a ver a mi madre el sábado pasado y entre a dejarle una ropa y vi su cama es horrible el colchón una esponja como cuna mal tendida no se mi reacción fue que es esto le pregunté a mi mamá y dice le pican los alambres y se quejó de su espalda.
